Did you know October 12 is World Arthritis Day?

Since 1996, every October 12th has been known as World Arthritis Day. The purpose is to raise awareness, influence public policy, and to make people aware of the large support network.

One of the best ways to fight arthritis is to exercise. By exercising, there may be less joint pain and more movement for those with arthritis. Low-stress activities for seniors such as yoga, stretching and swimming can help.
