Visiting Angels NJ Senior Care is pleased to spotlight Taishia Ward as its Recruitment Coordinator based in the Marlton office. The Recruitment Coordinator’s main role is to recruit the most qualified Certified Nurse’s Aides (CNAs) and Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) in Burlington and Mercer Counties. To that end, Taishia corresponds with numerous CNA/CHHA training institutes (such as Lincoln Tech, CDM Institute, and Moe Shea Institute of Mercer County) to engage the brightest new graduates. Job fairs, internet inquiries, and referral sources are other avenues in which she locates top “Angels.” Taishia has the unique ability to distinguish the professional, compassionate, hardworking, and enthusiastic aides from those who are “just looking for a paycheck.” Other job functions include assisting Managing Director and Co-Owner Nora de Cárdenas with new recruit orientation and performing office work.

Taishia is a very gracious and sociable person who was born and raised in Newark, NJ. She moved to South Jersey in 1996 and has a daughter and a stepson. Although Taishia is currently a Criminal Justice major (she attends classes in her spare time), she has, in the past, worked with brain-injured and older Alzheimer’s individuals for 7 years. Taishia is extremely excited to be Visiting Angels’ own “Recruiting Angel.”

If you or someone you know would like to be CNA/CHHA “Angel,” complete our job application.
