Older Americans Month is an annual opportunity to let older adults in our community know how much we appreciate them. Visiting Angels in NJ is proud to celebrate and promote Older Americans MonthThis year’s theme is “Safe Today. Healthy Tomorrow.” A safe lifestyle today makes for a healthier future for older adults.
Over 30,000 deaths occur each year due to injuries which could have been prevented.
In seniors, unintentional injuries can happen by falling, being accidentally burned, and being injured in car accidents while driving.
