Think spelling bees are just for kids? W-r-o-n-g!

Over the past weekend, older adults from across the country gathered in Wyoming to compete in a national spelling bee sponsored by AARP. Since 1996, senior spellers across the nation have participated in this event. The goal of the event is to promote the idea of seniors keeping their minds sharp as they age. This year, the winner, Michael Petrina Jr., 67, received $1000 and a 5-year membership to AARP. Read more at The Washington Post
