A new British study by National Academy of Sciences discovered that seniors aged 52-79 who reported feeling happy reduced their risk of dying by 35%, as compared to those who reported feeling less happy. Shoes with GPS about to hit the US market, great for Alzheimer’s sufferers…
Do you have a loved one with dementia who is prone to wander? A new shoe is about to make its mark in the U.S., one with a GPS tracking device built into the heel. The shoes cost around $300 and are able to track the whereabouts of the person wearing them. Family members can set up an area in which the person cannot walk beyond without setting off an alarm. Did you hear about the couple, married 72 years, who both died while holding each other’s hand?
What a beautiful love story! An Iowa couple died last week, hand in hand. They had been in a car accident and were both injured and hospitalized. According to an ABC report, they did many things together throughout their lives, from working at a Chevrolet dealership to a creamery.
