Visiting Angels seeks Office Assistant for Lawrenceville, NJ office

Visiting Angels is searching for an eager Office Assistant for our busy home care office in Lawrenceville, NJ!


The Office Assistant’s duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering phones in a pleasant voice and taking accurate messages
  • General office/clerical work including filing, photocopying, etc.
  • Greeting and assisting “walk-in” applicants for home health care positions with our application process
  • Helping the owners and other staff members with various tasks
  • Running errands using your own vehicle


The ideal candidate for this position is a person with:

  • Prior office experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation in which to use for occasional errands; the company will pay mileage
  • Excellent English-language communication skills
  • Well-mannered, positive, respectful, reliable, and with a calm disposition
  • A “company person”: Very loyal to our company and all its members
  • Strong work ethic
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented & with ability to multi-task
  • Requires minimal supervision (after probationary period)
  • Functions well as “part of a team”

The Office Assistant position is part-time to full-time; the schedule may change. This is an hourly position.
