Angel Recipe: Red Potatoes On-The-Grill


  • 2 lbs. red potatoes (skin on), cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, cut in half
  • 2 onions, quartered
  • 1.5 sticks of margarine or butter
  • 1 teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet browning & seasoning sauce


These potatoes are cooked in aluminum foil on the grill. To obtain a round shape in foil, wrap heavy duty aluminum foil around a large mixing bowl. Remove bowl and foil will retain the shape.

  • Melt margarine or butter in a microwave; add Kitchen Bouquet
  • In a separate bowl, mix potatoes, peppers, and mushrooms; add these to the foil pouch
  • Pour remaining butter mix over the top of the vegetables and close the foil
  • Cook on the grill at high temperature for 1/2 hour
  • Serves 10 to 12
