Broiled Chicken in Herb Sauce

Chicken is high in protein, niacin, vitamin B6, biotin, and vitamin B12. It’s also inexpensive and easy to prepare. You’ll love this simple broiled chicken recipe.


  • 2 whole chickens, cut into parts
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • Juice of 1 lemon


Blend all ingredients (except chicken) and brush onto chicken pieces. Place chicken onto foil-covered broiler pan. Broil. Turn every 5 to 6 minutes, brushing with herb sauce. Continue until chicken is lightly brown and crispy. Juices will run clear when pierced with fork.
