March is National Peanut Month. Peanuts are so nutritious, as they’re high in B vitamins, Vitamin E, protein, and manganese. Try peanuts in this easy no-bake recipe:


  • 1 cup nuts, chopped
  • 2 cups raisins or other dried fruit combination
  • 2 cups oats, rolled or instant
  • 2 cups cereal (non-sugary)
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  • Spray a 9×13″ pan with non-stick cooking spray
  • Combine nuts, raisins, oats, and cereal into a large bowl
  • In a large microwaveable bowl, combine honey, peanut butter, and brown sugar and heat on high 1-2 minutes until bubbles form; add vanilla and stir
  • Combine nut mixture with peanut butter mixture; stir until coated
  • Pour into pan and press ingredients tightly together
  • Let sit 1 hour in refrigerator; cut into bars
