Pepper Cabbage


  • 1 cabbage head, medium
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 red or green pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water


Shred cabbage and add green or red pepper. Sprinkle salt, sugar, vinegar, and water over cabbage and pepper mixture. Let set several hours or overnight in refrigerator before serving.
