Angel Recipes: Warm Crab and Artichoke Dip

Ingredients:

8 oz. package cream cheese, room temperature

3/4 cup mayonnaise

2 6-oz. cans crab meat, well drained

1/2 cup plus 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

4 tablespoons marinated artichoke hearts from jar, chopped and drained

3 tablespoons green onion, chopped

3 tablespoons red bell pepper, diced

3 tablespoons celery, diced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

2 teaspoons red wine vinegar

1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°F. Beat cream cheese in a large bowl with electric mixer until smooth. Add mayonnaise; beat until blended. Season with salt and pepper. Using rubber spatula, fold in crab meat, 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese, artichoke hearts, green onion, red pepper, celery, parsley, vinegar, and hot sauce. Transfer crab mixture to a small baking dish. Top with remaining 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese. Bake until crab mixture is warm and cheese is melted, about 20 minutes. Serve warm with toasted baguette slices or crackers.
